4th Annual
Still We Rise Juneteenth Celebration!
Join Foot Soldiers Park for a series of celebration events marking Juneteenth – the historic day when all Black people were effectively freed from slavery in the U.S.

A call to remember, rebuild and
rise for the future
160 years ago, enslaved Black Americans in Texas finally learned about the Emancipation proclamation which officially declared that Black people in the Confederate states were free. Join us on this momentous occasion to honor our history and reinvigorate our commitment to upholding and protecting the promise of freedom for everyone.
