Come celebrate Jo Ann Bland Day with us this July 29 with a full day of community events! Jo Ann Bland was a foot soldier, a longtime champion of Selma and a force not to be ignored. Join us for the festivities. All events are free and open to the community.
Free Selma Community Tours

Proclamation Ceremony, Mural Unveiling & Cocktail Hour

Mayor Johnny Moss III joins us for a proclamation ceremony, officially recognizing Jo Ann Bland Day. Plus we’ll unveil a mural present our inaugural Jo Ann Bland Community Award to a local resident for their outstanding service.
