Photographic Nights of Selma

Founded by Foot Soldiers Park in partnership with Arts Revive, Photographic Nights of Selma is an annual 3-day festival celebrating photography as both an art form and a means of cultural connection.

Now in its sixth year, the festival invites photographers from across the globe, the state of Alabama, and Selma itself to showcase their work through a variety of exhibitions and activities across downtown Selma, hosted by participating local businesses.

On Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 1 at 7pm, CT, we’ll feature an outdoor display near the Edmund Pettus Bridge of a diverse selection of the work of participating photographers as well as exhibits from local youth.

A printed publication highlighting the work of participating photographers and providing insight into their creative processes will be made available.

The event is open to the public and free! So be sure to join us!

The event venues are all located along the same corridor, within steps of each other:
