Selma Cinema Festival

We’re hosting our inaugural Selma Cinema Film Festival – a three-day celebration of film as a catalyst for social change. The event brings together filmmakers, industry professionals, and anyone who just appreciates a good movie! Join us for this exciting lineup of films, workshops, and panel discussions designed to unite diverse audiences and spark meaningful conversations.

Enjoy an array of feature short and feature-length films that explore themes of social justice, environmental stewardship, cultural heritage, community resilience and more. Screenings will take place in historic downtown Selma, including Foot Soldiers Park Auditorium located in the newly renovated Selma Times-Journal building, the old Walton Theatre which used to host vaudeville shows in the early 1900s and cultural center ArtsRevive.
